Our international, multi-media project celebrating 50 years since the first EARTH DAY is here!
UPDATE: There is a film being made on the Planet Project, and you can find out more about it here
‘Collectively, we can have real impact.’
Aiming to recreate the emotion of the 1989 Baltic chain, when people across the Baltic states joined hands forming a peaceful demonstration of solidarity, the PLANET PROJECT is such a demonstration taking place online.
On the 22nd of April, on Earth Day, a range of podcasters, artists and writers will join hands in offering one piece of work each focusing on EARTH – OUR PLANET.
The Baltic Chain spanned almost 700 kilometres across the Baltic states. Let’s make this new chain stretch around the world.
There is a way to contribute to this project. If you would like to join us in holding hands around the planet, please use the HASHTAG #2020planetproject and tag @storisse on Instagram, so that I can see your creation and share it.
Check my Stories on Instagram to see all contributions.
With thanks to these artists, who are joining hands on and around the 22nd of April:

SPECIAL THANKS TO LISA @bright.blue.baloon for the beautiful logo.
I would like to salute everyone who expressed interest. These are difficult times and a lot has changed in only a few months. Before isolation advice, there had been plans for community engagement projects, ideas for reaching out beyond online presence . These had to change, but I believe the beauty of the intention remains.
Even though some artists had to leave the project due to circumstances drastically changing, I am so touched by their generosity and I am sure their intention contributes to bringing about change. I would like to encourage everyone to contribute on the day, or just cheer us on.
