Tommy was 65 when I met him and 66 years old when he died. It took me a while to process the meaning of his story, but that meaning is here now, rich and powerful more than ever before.

This episode’s recommendation is Kitchen Stories. This is such a good film, funny, yet meaningful. It asks important questions and, last but not least, it kept me entertained but also self-critical during my PhD research. No, I was never THAT type of social researcher… far from it.
