WHY THIS PODCAST?

why this podcast

This is a non-episode, really. We tell you why we started the podcast, what it is about, where my passion for storytelling comes from.

You can find out more about that here and here.
Here’s an excerpt:

‘A sense of wellbeing. A sense of joy. A moment of deep comfort and of forgetting of self. I want them to come here, listen to this, and leave lighter. Hear some really beautiful stories – those, I have plenty of! Feel encouraged to maybe think about that story in a different way. And maybe feel inspired to watch a film, or read a book, or visit a charity’s website which is somehow connected to the content of the episode.’

Save the Children UK encourage people to wear a Christmas jumper on a specific day in December (it’s the 14th this year) and raise money for the charity. Most people wear Christmas jumpers outside of that one day, during Advent and Christmas.
